Everyone should find a place in their garden for a Paperbark Maple. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this small tree is legendary for its rich copper papery exfoliating bark that hangs in curls on the trunk. Fall colour ranges from good to excellent, in tones of orange and red. Although the tree produces seeds, most are sterile, so it won't clutter your garden with an army of unwanted seedlings.
